Wakunaga Pharmaceutical and IRPA Collaborative Study Recognized as a “Most Read (Last 30 Days)” Article in Cell Metabolism

A collaborative research paper by the Institute for Research on Productive Aging (IRPA) has become the most-read article in Cell Metabolism over the past 30 days.
The study has attracted worldwide attention for revealing the anti-aging effects of S1PC, a bioactive compound derived from aged garlic extract, and uncovering a novel form of inter-organ communication linking adipose tissue, the brain, and skeletal muscle.
The research demonstrates that S1PC promotes the secretion of eNAMPT from adipose tissue and may improve age-related decline in muscle function through the hypothalamus.
